TRAINING

For select driver guide candidates, we will provide paid CDL training in our winter/spring training program. For applicants in Idaho, Utah and Washington, we have part time CDL training programs that are catered to your school and work schedules. These classes begin in January and run through the beginning of the touring season in May. For those unable to attend these classes we have an Alaskan training program beginning in April.

  • All employees are eligible for a contract completion bonus

  • Driver guides are eligible for a safety bonus

  • Driver guides are eligible for travel reimbursement

  • Premium Pay for CDL holders with touring experience

Southeast Alaska is not easily accessible by road. Only three towns in SE AK have road access and they happen to be pretty tiny. SE AK relies on barges to supply goods to all communities. Even our trusty motor coaches are transported via barge.
