General Function: Create daily dispatches in office for days ships are in port, and have a friendly presence out on the docks to direct passengers and buses.

Job Requirements:
Pre-employment substance screening & background check required
Class B CDL or tourism experience preferred, but not required
Clean driving record
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Competent computer skills (Must have experience in Excel)
Organized and good at multi tasking
Dependable and punctual
Great multi-tasking skills

General knowledge of the position:
This is a high activity job that requires a knack for multi-tasking and ability not to get frazzled in high stress situations. You must be able to communicate clearly with staff, ship representatives, and vendor partners at all times
Create daily ship dispatches that efficiently map out tours, ensuring buses depart and arrive at accurate times
Gain understanding of pertinent Federal and State DOT regulations and integrate routine compliance into all aspects of delivering quality tours. Complete all related paperwork in a professional, accurate, consistent and timely manner.
Communicate daily with arriving cruise ships to relay tour information, such as timing, passenger counts and tour itinerary
Work closely with tour and operations manager to establish proper logistics and itinerary for all tours
Act as a leader in communications between Alaska Coach Tours and cruise ships, as you will be the main liaison between the two entities
